Back to Back

This group was put together in the mid-1980s and comprised the guitarist and singer Alan “Bam” King, the bassist Terry “Tex” Comer and the drummer Fran Byrne who had all played together previously with the successful group Ace.  The guitarist Ed Deane and the guitarist Andy Winfield were the other two members.

The group performed mainly on the London pub circuit, often heard in Brentford at the Red Lion.  Their music was a mix of rock’n’roll, blues and soul which proved popular to their audiences.

When the band dissolved several of the members went on to become part of the group Juice on the Loose.
