Big Wheelie & The Hubcaps

They are a group that formed in the early 1970s and have been described as the “greatest greaser band in the land”.  They have performed at numerous shows and festivals held within the United States with acclaimed artists such as Chuck Berry, Paul Anka, Little Richard, Fleetwood Max, The Boxtops, Roy Orbison and many more.

Led by Big Wheelie, the Hubcaps perform music from the 1950s and ’60s and have recorded 5 albums that include Bring Back the Do-Wops and Solid Grease!, with several single releases.

Big Wheelie was inducted into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame in 1985,  have an album displayed in the Buffalo Historical Museum and on the 20th August 1985 were given the key to the city of Buffalo and had the day named Big Wheelie & The Hubcaps Day.

They performed until the 2010s at various venues around the New York area including outdoor shows, ’50s festivals, churches, exhibitions, fairs and fetes etc.
