Choir of the Church of St. Michael & St. George

This professional choir is made up of students and professionals based at the Church of St.Michael & St. George in St. Louis, Missouri.

It has a broad repertoire of music from several centuries, strongly concentrating on Anglican music.  Their performances of anthems, canticles, motets and Psalms are performed at several services that include Morning Prayer, Evensong and the Holy Eucharist.

Since 2008 their choirmaster has been Robert Lehman who plays the organ and harpsichord as well as composing.  He has given many performances nationally and internationally.

Under the leadership of the Choirmaster and organist Edward A. Wallace they made the holiday recording The Stupendous Stranger: Music for Christmas and Epiphany.  This recording had several tracks recording at St. Louis’ Christ Church Cathedral with William Partridge on organ and included solo performances by Christine Brewer and Kevin Koontz.

Another holiday recording under the leadership of Edward A. Wallace is A Choral Flourish which was performed at St. Paul’s Cathedral and Westminster Abbey with the organ played by B. Michael Parrish.
