Mirage

This jazz-funk band was formed in London, England, in 1978 and performed their first gig at Ronnie Scott’s club in London.

They released just two records with “Summer Grooves” charting in the UK and France.  They made several live performances at music festivals such as Glastonbury, where they headlined, made appearances at soul weekends, were the support for Level 42, toured the Odeon Circuit in Britain and performed in several London venues including the Rainbow, the Lyceum and Hammersmith Palais.  They also appeared on several programmes for BBC’s Radio One and took part in many interviews.

It appears that the group disbanded around 1981.
