(Benny Andersson/Mats Norklit)
Recorded after ABBA split up, Benny wrote this song in collaboration with his brother-in-law who is the lyricist Mats Norlkit. Also known by its Scandinavian title “Efter Regnet”, it has been possibly influenced by the Nordic environment, with the music being a celebration of a shower of rain and then the welcome sight of the returning sun. It first appeared on Benny Andersson’s 1987 album Klinga Meiner Klockor and was more recently recorded by Anne Sofie von Otter on her I Let the Music Speak, which is a Benny Andersson tribute album.
