(Mack Jackson/Larry Robinson)
Mack Jackson’s side B to “Stand Tall, John Wayne, Stand Tall” is not about the famous bear hunter but is instead a song-that-tells-a-story about a cowboy who fought off the bad guys with a whip, a la Lash LaRue. According to the record label, it was inspired by “the late Henry Robinson”.
