Cello Concerto in C Major, Opus 20 (D’Albert)

This concerto was written in 1899 and opens with the oboe, followed by the clarinet, playing the main theme before the solo cello takes over.

The United States premiere of the work was performed by the cellist, Frits Gaillard, in Los Angeles in 1926.
