This piece of music was written by Percy Faith and Spence Maxwell in the 1960s and first appeared as the title track on Percy Faith’s 1966 holiday recording which has been suggested as being his best selling album.
It has since appeared on albums that include the 1998 Ultimate Christmas Album and 2000’s All Time Christmas Favourites.
Other recordings include the title track of Johnny Mathis’ 1999 holiday recording and Don Ho’s The Don Ho Christmas Album.
