This version of the song was released in the US rather than the studio version that was the British preference. It was recorded at a concert in Glasgow in 1979 and reached No. 1 on the US Billboard chart in 1980. Although credited to Paul McCartney alone, the song was performed live with his group Wings.
The live version appears on Paul McCartney and Wings greatest hits album Wingspan while the studio version is on the UK release. Yet another version that has an extra verse is included on the 1981 album Concerts for the People of Kampuchea, but that verse was not included in the Glasgow version.
