Fadin’ In, Fadin’ Out

This song was written by Sonny Throckmorton and Bobby Braddock in 1977 and published on 1st January 1978.

Described as a “minor classic”, it was recorded by Tommy Overstreet in 1978 who took it to No. 11 on the US Billboard Country chart and included on his 1978 album Better Me.  It has since been included on several of his compilation albums.

Bill Phillips then recorded it in 1982 for his Honky Tonkin and his version has appeared on albums like 50 Country Favorites.
