Upbeat ballad which starts out with a “Ride Captain Ride” vibe, then curiously does not change chords on the second line of the verse, and eventually explodes into an early Doobies-style chorus. It was penned by Texas Tornados rhythm guitarist and vocalist Atwood Allen, and originally appeared on 1976’s Texas Rock For Country Rollers, which was credited to “Sir Doug & The Texas Tornados” although the accompanying promotional 45 has clearly rescinded Sahm’s knighthood.
