Not just the background music from the side A vocal, this is a full-blown instrumental version of “Las Vegas”, less Vegas than Glenn Miller, with a “Little Brown Jug”-like opening and a virtuoso, snake-like saxophone solo. The build into it is vaguely reminiscent of a similar passage in “Take the A Train”.
