No More Lonely Nights (Ballad)

The song written and recorded by Paul McCartney was released on 24th September 1984 and was the last song he recorded for the 1984 album Give My Regards to Broad Street.  It reached No.2 in the UK charts and No. 6 in the US.  On this recording Paul McCartney sings lead vocals, Linda McCartney and Eric Stewart back-up vocals, David Gilmour from Pink Floyd on guitar, the renowned studio musician Herbie Flowers on bass, Anne Dudley on synthesizer and Stuart Elliot on drums.  George Martin produced it and David Gilmour gave his session fee to Paul McCartney to give to the charity of his choice.  The video for this version was made at the Old Justice Pub in Bermondsey, South East London.
