Paul’s Boogie

(arranged by Paul Buskirk)

This tune was arranged by the mandolin player Paul Buskirk and appeared on his 1975 album Hot Pickin’.  It was released as a single with “Rustic Dance Scottische” on the flip side.

The piece of music sounds like it could have been an arrangement of Arthur “Guitar Boogie” Smith’s famous “Guitar Boogie”, but there is also a piece of music called “Paul’s Boogie” which was written by Paul Williams & Gene Redd for saxophone and recorded by the Paul Williams Sextette in 1950.
