(Phil Cody /Neil Sedaka)
Originally recorded by Neil Sedaka as “Should’ve Never Let Her Go” for All You Need is the Music, this re-titled version, re-recorded with his daughter, turned out to be his final hit, reaching #19 on the Billboard pop chart in the spring of 1980. It appears on In the Pocket as well as several greatest-hits packages. Neil unearthed the song again for his concert at Royal Albert Hall in London in April 2006.
