(Jimmy McCarthy/Feargal Murray)
This song written by Jimmy McCarthy and Feargal Murray was specially commissioned by the vocal group The Celtic Tenors and was recorded by them on their album 2005 We Are Not Islands with the added vocal of Deirdre Shannon who is the tenor Matthew Gilsenon’s sister and been a member of Celtic Woman.
One review describes it as a quiet unobtrusive song and it is basically a message for people who are missing departed loved ones that tells them they have no sadness in heaven and they are still there by your side.
The song has since been released on The Celtic Tenors’ Remember Me and recorded by Michelle Lally for her album If This Be Love.
