This song written by Tony Sheridan and Bill Crompton was recorded by The Beatles and Tony Sheridan in sessions that were held on 22nd and 23rd June 1961 in Hamburg, Germany.  The complete title is “Why (Can’t You Love Me Again)” although released as just “Why”.  Tony Sheridan sang the lead vocals with The Beatles singing harmony and Pete Best appearing on drums.  It reached No. 88 in the US chart in April 1964 and appears on the albums The Beatles, Tony Sheridan and Their Guests and Savage Young Beatles among others.
