Cervenak, Milan (22nd August 1950-Present)

He is a cellist born in Gemerska Poloma, Slovakia, who attended the Kosice Conservatory from 1965 to 1971 and then matriculated to the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, where he graduated in 1975.  He furthered his education at Conservatory St. Petersburg and a pair of summer interpretation courses which focused on the music of Leos Janacek and Bohuslav Martinu.

Groups with which he has performed include Camerata Cassovia, the Cassoviae Quartet, the Kosice Chamber Orchestra, Orchester der Opernwerkstatt Wien, and the Slovak State Philharmonic Orchestra, Kosice (CSSR).
