Country and western singer-songwriter, born in San Diego, California, who enjoyed moderate success in the 1960s, although a long-term record deal eluded him, despite the fact that he was briefly promoted by boxing legend Rocky Marciano. His true legacy may be his daughter Sheri Frushay, a country-rock artist with whom he co-wrote “Walk Tall Cowboy”. His collaboration with singer-songwriter Mack Jackson , “Stand Tall, John Wayne, Stand Tall “, failed to reach the same heights.
