Gibson, Chris

He is a singer born Chris Francfort in Martinique, West Indies, and is the brother of Patrick and Alex Francfort/Gibson.

They formed the band Gibson Brothers in around 1976 and cut their first single “Come to America” in 1976 which was successful in Europe.  Their next single was their first million-seller in Europe.  Although not popular in the US, they met with much more success in the European scene.

Although disco music essentially collapsed in 1980, the brothers continued to tour and release discs.
